Description
Light Golden Blonde is a bright, warm blonde with a clear light-gold reflect, equivalent to US colour #24. It sits between a classic golden blonde and platinum: light enough to read unmistakably blonde, warm enough to look like hair the sun has lightened rather than hair that has been bleached. Supplied as 20 tapes per pack in eight lengths from 14" to 28", in Slavic hair professionally lightened and toned.

Who this shade matches
Light Golden Blonde suits natural and coloured blondes at level 8 to 10 whose hair reads warm or golden in daylight, and warm, golden or olive skin tones. It is the shade for a bright blonde that keeps its warmth instead of being toned back to ash.
Against cool or ash-toned blonde hair, a golden shade reads brassy. If your hair is cool or neutral, Light Beige Blonde #12.4 (US #22) will blend better.
Light Golden Blonde works well in a warm, dimensional blonde:
- For depth, use Golden Blonde #8 (US #14) through the interior with Light Golden Blonde at the surface.
- For brighter pieces, add Golden Platinum #12.1 (US #613) around the face.
- For a soft root shadow, place Light Chestnut Brown #6 (US #8) through the top section. Both shades are warm, so the transition stays natural.
Wear and care
Move-ups at 6 to 8 weeks, heat under 450 °F (230 °C) with a protectant on every pass.
- Toning: skip violet and blue shampoo unless a colourist advises it. They neutralise the gold this shade is built on and leave it flat.
- If the colour shifts orange: that is build-up from water or product, not the gold fading. A clarifying wash addresses it.
- Strength: a monthly bond treatment, as for any lightened blonde.
- Water: rinse straight after any pool or ocean swim; chlorine dulls the gold reflect.
- Conditioner: mid-lengths and ends only, well clear of the tape tabs.
Questions about Light Golden Blonde #24
How is #24 different from #14?
Light Golden Blonde (US #24) is a level lighter and brighter. Golden Blonde #8 (US #14) is deeper, with a fuller gold. The two combine well in one install.
How is #24 different from #613?
Golden Platinum #12.1 (US #613) is platinum-light, close to white with a soft gold. Light Golden Blonde (US #24) is a level or two deeper and more visibly golden.
Is light golden blonde the same as honey blonde?
They overlap. Honey blonde usually describes a richer, slightly amber gold. Light Golden Blonde is the brighter, lighter version of the same warm family.
Will it turn brassy?
The gold is deliberate, not brass. Brass is an orange cast from under-lifted hair or build-up. If the shade shifts orange rather than gold, a clarifying wash addresses it.
